okay.....now is the point where i ask, what's a freak flag? It's doing your own thing i guess?

I think my problem is that I like to wave the freak flag - but very quickly- and then tuck it away. And I worry that people will be too offended by it.

I am trying very hard to be me - and not apologize for who I am  and what I do. It's very hard.

Beth, I'm coming to the conclusion that people will either tell me if they're offended, or they'll stay away from me. And I'm not going to let myself worry too much about it (two minutes worry maximum?). I'm re-finding me i think and it's interesting for sure. But it's not easy, it's good work!

I am so tickled you are back. And I am glad that you are dealing well with your freak flag 

I think mine is more of a handkercief. But I am really trying to pull it out more. I caught myself wanting to apologise the other day just for being myself... and I didn't. Sometimes, though, I get comfortable with a person or I like a person and I show just a bit too much and then I worry for a bit. But that's where I am progressing - before I would have worried for a week.

I am annoying sometimes (I even annoy myself)
I go a bit overboard sometimes
I try to show off sometimes
I am who I am
Some people will like me
Some won't
I don't have to like everyone
Either
