thinking of you
« on: November 30, 2007, 01:34:55 PM »
Hi everyone,

I just wanted to tell you that I am thinking of you (((all))) and miss you and all the gifts you give. I want to give my love and heartfelt concern to you as I am unable to be online right now.

Our dog is dying. :(
She is the sweetest golden retriever. She is my first pet, so this sadness that has overcome me is a bit of a shock. Have cried all week. She is such huge blessing a our family. :) And always will be.
We are loving her and cherishing each moment until she has to go.

Anyways thats why I wanted you to know... I did not dissapear. Much love, seasons

(((((((Seasons))))))))

It is so hard to lose a loved one.  I had a cat who was my only source of comfort while I lived in my parents house.  She was my life line - if not for her I probably would not be here today (not trying to be overly dramatic - I thought of suicide often in those days, on edit - the only thing that stopped me was that I was terrified of what they would have done to her).

When she left me, I was heart broken.  I cried for months, and now 8 years later, I am still sad at the thought of her being gone.  I am also so thankful that she was part of my life - I have a lot to thank her for - without her I would not have had the opportunity to see the beauty of my children's spirits.  I have learned so much from them.

I am so sorry you are going through this.

Peace

Seasons,

I'm so sorry to hear about your golden retriever. They are such loving dogs. Pets are like people to their owners, so it's only normal to feel as sad when they die as when people die. I have had several pets (both cats and dogs) who I still think of every day, even though they died years ago.

I'm sure your dog's passing will be made easier for her by being with people who love her. It's still very hard for you, though.

You will enjoy the moments you have, and savour each lasting memory always, of your 'best friend'

My first pet passed away five years ago and he is held close in my thoughts.

Sincere thoughts,

Love, Leah

Dear Seasons,
Thanks for writing and telling us what is going on.
I love my "fur babies' so much. When they hurt ,it is harder ,in a way ,than with people b/c they can't tell you what is wrong.
A long term dog relationship is one of the most precious relationships on earth. I am so sorry that you are hurting,Seasons.
               Love    Ami
