to any leader-type people who had to grow up way too fast...

i would greatly like to hear from any of you that believe you had to "raise yourself"  "grow up too fast"  "figure life out all on your own..."  things like that...I want to know what sort of friendships you had with close friends.

Were you raised in a ministry family? political family? other?
Did you become a leader of some sort in your life?
Did you find yourself unable to hold onto friendships?
Did you tend to have a desire to control the other person?
Did you long for closeness but at the same time distrust the other person and push them away?
Did you ever paint the other person 'black" in order to "justify" abandoning them before they could leave you?
Did you ever "turn" the other person into the mini version of you as a child, so you could "parent" them?
Did you tend to grow up thinking everything in the world was either your fault or your responsibility?

What is it like to be an adult, trying to have another adult as a friend or a partner in business, ministry, etc...having been raised with little to no ability to communicate or relate interpersonally.

ALL comments welcome and thank you :)
