Contentment

Perhaps this newish book, by Matthieu Ricard, titled "Happiness" should be called "Contentment".   I have not yet read the book, but will be buying it.

In essence, it probably is similar in focus to a short little book, which I treasure (and which kept me from going mad at times in those dreadful post-N days), called "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success" by Deepak Chopra.

It is indeed true that happiness cannot be provided by outside things, and by others.  It is in there, inside us.
