We just cannot know.

too right CH. I have given up being judgemental where I can't help myself, and the media does so often misrepresent it's hard to know context.

One thing- I am sure the woman herself has had quite a dose of whatever it was she was trying to teach the boy...

In other words, I hope I am standing up for him.

yes, if we all take turns and stand up then things become more balanced, overall our voices blend.

I am trying to 'crusade' a bit less for a while myself, I can feel myself burning out a little....but it's always important to speak up, at the least it may reassure someone- someone cares.

So much for being off the computer all weekend...waiting to go pick up son I just sort-of drifted on here....not always balanced Hermes, thanks for kind words though  :)

I was just deleting a few saved quotes and came upon this by John Donne:

Humiliation is the beginning of sanctification....without this, without holiness, no man shall see God, though he pore whole nights upon his Bible; ....without humility, no man shall hear God speak to his soul, though he hear three two-hour sermons every day!

He died in 1631, I think how the naughty kids were treated then might appall us now!

And I wonder for what purpose I originally saved the quote, another mystery....
