I hope you'll also talk to your doctor, okay? Just in case the lap band surgery complicates things that are already rough for you.

A friend of mine had a terrible time with PMS and periods prior to menopause and finally had a hysterectomy and never regretted it. For her it was an enormous relief. Personally I'd rather not go that route if alternative things would help me. Have you done yoga?

Actually I have an ice pack on right now.....lots of ibuprofen and ice pack has made it a little more bearable.....

Don't think it has anything to do with the lap band.  I have been hurting for years......

And speaking of lap band....it is finally working!!!!  Yea!!!  Found that sweet spot where it is tightened enough to keep me from overeating.
