Touching Good and Evil
« on: June 14, 2008, 07:56:34 AM »
Evil arises when we WON'T face outselves, our own selfishness, pettiness, hate, pain, rage, anger. We must face it or we will project it on to others.
I am facing myself, as I am. I want to see it all,, the selfishness and all the rest.
I must see it ,in myself, first, and then in  others.
Then, I will be free. That is freedom to me.
It always has been.
If others project on me, it will only help me have enough pain to go to that end, the truth. It has been my quest from the beginning and still is, always the truth. I want to see it all and I am.       Ami

Ami,

I support you in this, as well as I need to support others, and myself in this endeavor.  I have not joined in any frays.

I logged out because I need to get busy, but I logged back on when I saw this post from you.  I'm me, not any other identities,
and I was sincere when I wrote back my reply on my out of commission thread about feeling honored by the first reply you made
on it, because I felt very touched when I read it. Perhaps it was naive or even N of me to feel that way when I read your first reply
on it.  I was very saddened when I came across the other reply, and I came across it quite by accident.

The other thing I want to add is that if you, I, or anyone project on others, it will hopefully cause enough healing pain in ourselves, also. As
sure as we are human, we will do it, but hopefully less and less as we grow.

I think of you in your journey through many types of grief as I am going through mine. It's not even been six months yet for
either date, as far as my recollection as to the approximate day of your loss.

Wishing you well -

(edit in for clarity: added the words "in ourselves" after "cause enough healing pain")

Good people know themselves so they don't need to project,on others. That is my goal.  When projection happens to me, it strengthens me, not weakens me. I see that it is like my M.
S/one else/s problems is them , not me.
I have to know myself so *I* don't hurt others with my OWN pain.
When others hurt me,I  use it to grow, , get wiser, more humble and more human.    Ami

I  SEE how much power I DO have in myself. It is not power over others, their POV. It is power over me, my choices, ways to walk.
Before, I said yes when I wanted to say no. I said what I thought I HAD to say and do,but there is no have to, other than my own value system.
 I was always free.

Evil CAN"T prevail if good people stand up.That is the lesson of history. The King of Denmark put the gold star on his arm and all the Danish citizens did too .All the Danish Jews were saved. Evil is usually concentrated in a small way, but good won't stand and be counted.         Ami
