Yes, I agree, too bad that we had to meet through the creeps in our lives, however, is that not a great way to see that something good comes out of everything...if we are open to it?

One thing I know for sure is that pain opens me up........

Yes I totally agree..  Good does come along with the bad... We just have to keep it open ..and it does happen... Nothing stays the same and life is always challenging... the hard part is trying to keep balance.. when your world has been rocked... but you can find the balance again...and sometimes that is through feeling the pain.... just have to work through it and sometimes that seems the greatest of all the pain...to be real...accept it... deal with it... and let it go.. hard to get there sometimes.. but we all can.
