Just thinking about you and wondering how you are doing? Thanks for being so open and caring when it was really needed. Everyone was, but you stood out.

Dear Alone
Thank you for those kind words. They come at a special time for me. I am changing so fast that I don't know who I am ,half the time.
I have been studying Alice Miller and found an Enlightened Witness ,someone whom I can share the deepest parts of my life and feelings with.
This has helped me to finally release pain that has bound me for so many years..It is an ongoing process, but I do see light at the end of the tunnel. I see myself getting emotionally healthy.
Your words were so precious to me, Alone. Thank you so very, very much.    Love   Ami

You are so welcome. I don't think we all realize what an impact we have on each other, even though it's not the 3D world. You're willingness to share at such a painful time,  helped me to come to grips with things before it got totally out of control. I just wanted to let you know and hope others here realize what a difference they can make, without even knowing it.

You are so sweet, Ann. My Witness is one of the greatest gifts I have ever had in my life. I feel  I can be anything or say anything and I will be accepted. I never had this type of acceptance ,in my life and it is very profoundly healing.
Thanks for being such a caring friend, Ann.  I miss you on the board.   Love   Ami

Glad to hear, Ami.  Maybe you're feeling unconditional love or unconditional acceptance?

You can be you and not worry how that the other person will reject you for feeling your feelings?  I'm starting to understand this.  It feels relaxing to just be myself, no mask, no trying to please others.  And, those who reject us for our feelings, well, I don't want to hang out with them.

love,
ann

Dear Ann
I have never been able to say my deepest feelings w/out being shamed. My M would say,"WHO do you think you are?"I hated that so much. It made me want to become a puddle of water.
I was made to feel like I had to hide begind a mask b/c I was so unacceptable.
I peeking my head out from under the mask and venturing a few real feelings and finding that I  will not be rejected.
It is the best thing that ever happened to me, Ann.
I feel like I am talking about it too much, but I have hope for the first time and it feels so good to simply have hope.I know that you understand, Ann. Love You,  Ami

Have you read any Alice Miller books, Ann? If so, which ones do you like?      Ami

Hi Ami,

I have read almost all of her books.  I particularly likes Drama of the Gifted Child & the Body Never Lies.  I also love her web site.

I find that many of her books repeat the same theme, but that's OK because we need to understand this.  Miller is a pioneer re: children's rights & child rearing.

Having an enlightened Witness is very important, so I'm glad it's working for you.

love,
ann

Dear Ann
I am reading "Drama of the Gifted Child,"now. I just finished "The Paths of Life" and Your Body Never Lies.
Have you ever had an Enlightened Witness? If so, what was your experience? Finding the right person would be like finding a needle in a haystack. Mine was simply a Divine gift, as I look at it.   Love   Ami

The only enlightened W I ever had was my therapist and she validated many of my feelings, perceptions and experiences.

Another author I like is Nina Brown who talks about the effects of having N parents.
