Toxic People
« on: October 01, 2008, 08:20:31 AM »
There is a girl at work.  Part of me says that the people who left to go work for the other former employee left because of her.  She lurks in the next aisle trying to get a little dirt.  She calls people up and talks about other people.  She was gone for 12 weeks with her sick daughter who was getting radiation.  She left and came back and in three days the whole store was in an uproar.......already stirring the pot.

You'd think that people would figure her out and stop participating in that, wouldn't you?

There always seems to be a few that don't get it, though.

How are you handling it?

HI OC,

I would propose that toxic people are everywhere.
We sniff them out and ignore them.
If they impose themselves in our space, that is physical as well as hearing, I believe we are entitled to tell them to move on.

We might not be able to fire them, and what they have been dong might be all right with the boss, as he might be toxic as well, but unless he wants to expose himself, he might do something.

This world is filling up will more Narcissists ans Psychopaths, every day!

We all must be very careful and expose them if we can!

It is hard to handle things like that. It reminds me of one person I knew who got the same type of floor(a certain unusual wood floor) as another person . The first one would not talk to the second one, again, b/c she copied her floor.
