Talk about "I am worth it...."
« on: October 16, 2008, 08:05:44 PM »
I am worth it
and
I have treated myself, after over 20 years of the same eyeglasses, because I thought them the best,
to
new designer eyewear
Ahhhhhhhhh................

only $900.00

I can hardly wait until next week.

Hey Iz,

So nice to see you without a plastic bag on your head.  You are one Hot Mama...glasses are nice.   Who is the designer?  And yes you deserve to buy yourself those glasses.  Why not?  Have fun!  Ever try contacts?  I have problems with them soemtimes they hurt.

Love
Deb

Thanks all

Those are an idea

Mine have some European (forget country) Crystals in the side front, 9 tiny ones making a square and the arms are very fancy.

The designer is European. Of every design he makes, he sends just ONE to this store

I went past the store last week and saw frames I liked (much like mine) and then today I went by again, turned around and went in and "did the dirty deed".

xx

OH IZ.... they sound gorgeous! And I'm sure they'll compliment your solid-gold self quite well.  (tee-hee!)

You know, I thought this was going to be serious, heavy discussion about why we're ALL worth it.... whatever "it" is for us...
and here I was gearing up to think really deeply, reaching for some amazing profound comments... and gathering realizations from other's thoughts...

WOT A RELIEF!  :D  Thanks, Iz. I really needed this thread.

There's a whole lot MORE to life - and living it - than all the naval-gazing struggle I've engaged in for so long. Navalgazing has it's uses - but by itself, it's still just navalgazing. Now, maybe my favorite shoe store is having a sale... I crave a brand-new pair of boots for fall...

Thank you lighter and PR

lighter, glad you like...........so odd to try on different ideas of the shape of frame and then go back to my old ones....

So PR, go get your boots. You are worth it (them).

Navel-gazing--well crazy years I have lived,,,,,,, until I came aboard here and all has been falling into place.

I am pleased with my new assertiveness--as in ..I will not take any sh*t from anybody.

I ordered a pizza a couple of nights back and the guy raced me, very rudely, through all the questions but forgot to ask what I wanted on it. I heard his other line ring, but I was his customer at the time. I sent an email about the lack of courtesy and I had a call from the Owner tonight with apologies etc. and am on the list for a free pizza, next order. (Of course he checked to see that I have used their outlet for 6 years.)

I told him I hoped he'd be kind to Jeff, not make him cry, as I felt he had been overloaded, maybe another person ought to have been given the call.

So, happy endings for all, after I said that I never sent an email all these years about the good service...so I said it then and that this was the first offence.

Love
Izzy
