On New Year's Eve my friend Michael and I were channel surfing (well-He was! Men love to do that and it annoys me to death!!) and we came upon several back to back episodes of THE SARAH SILVERMAN SHOW on Logos which is a channel you get if you have Showtime. She intentionally plays a very funny but entirely toxic young woman who has no clue that anyone else in the world has rights or needs other than herself. In every episode the storyline is about how her skewed POV causes havoc and how she is incapable of seeing herself or learning from anything bad that happens. For once severe toxic Narcissism is FUNNY. I think the new season starts February 9th.

That sounds similar to Keeping Up Appearances that I've watched on PBS.

Another character that I find so annoying that I can't enjoy the show if it's mainly about him ... is George on Seinfeld. He's kind of narcissistic but also extremely and obviously insecure.

I could never understand the "humor" of Seinfeld.  It always seemed to be cruel to me.
