the voicelessness of Haiti
« on: January 14, 2010, 03:33:55 PM »
I just wanted to express my grief over the suffering in Haiti.

Desperate poverty, pain, and trauma beyond imagining.

I have made a small donation.

Never enough. But if enough people do the same, perhaps something
hopeful could be built out of the rubble. Eventually.

I am so sorry for them.

(It didn't help when Pat Robertson blamed the earthquake on Haitian slaves
making a "pact with Satan" in the 1700s. For Christ's sake, no
pun intended.)

Anyway, heavy heart. Our neighbors.

 You girls are sooo right,
   Pat Robertson is a moron!
I don't know how people can survive thru such a tragedy. I, too, made a small donation, but feel so helpless. Wouldn't it be awesome if every man, woman and child donated just a dollar apiece? Think of the money that would pour in!!!!

Such a tragedy!!!  How this country has suffered!  Everyone must do their part, either through donation or prayer.

Visit the home websites of both Billy Graham and Pat Robertson.  You will see the difference between a Christian leader and a Christian charlatan.

Pat Robertson knows nothing about God!  I'm sure God has a heavy heart due to this horrible catastrophe as he did with hurricane Katrina.  God hurts like we do.

How do men like this get an audience I will never know!

I pray for the lives of Haiti.  Donations to
