Wonderful 4th of July celebrations
« on: July 05, 2011, 05:11:30 PM »
I have 3 younger cousins, and it was so nice to scoop up sturdy little round twin toddler boys, and scamper after their 5yo sister.  Another cousin has a 2yo little girl with HUGE brown eyes..... so shy, she didn't warm up to anyone but the older cousins.  She spoke in whispers, and I really really wanted to hold her.

Another cousin has a 7 and 8yo, boy and girl.  Such a nice visit filled with pool time, water fun, frogs, tadpoles, a pirate dress up party, salamanders and trout.  One of the toddler twins wore full pirate mustache, beard and eyebrows...... it was hard to get him out of it.  The other twin would have nothing to do with the pirate stuff, though I tried to slip a mustache by on his pacifier.  He was having none of it.

::shaking head::

My youngest won the best pirate, with a full beard.  Just such fun.

We saw spectacular fire works displays....... amazing.

We grilled out yummy ribs (sorry Hops) and veggies.

We were missing some cousins, which was unfortunate, but we hope they'll come next year.
