Bad day at work
« on: December 31, 2005, 07:17:22 PM »
Yesterday was just a nightmare at work.  I hope that on Tuesday I don't get fired. A situation came up at work and I was put on the spot with the owner wife and I told the true about what was going on and the owners wife confronted my boss about it.   My boss that talks behind my back but to my face she tells me how great I am.  I told the owners wife to please not say anything because my boss will only retaliate against me at work.  I am just sick.  I could hardly sleep last night.  I wish that I could call my mom and talk to her but she just would only make matters worse.  If only she was the kind of person that you could call and she would listen and make me feel that everything is going to be OK.

Lucky for me my oldest daughter has become the person that I can talk to and she listens and tells me everything is going to be OK.

Hi Marie

hope it all gets sorted out soon, try to listen to your daughter- she's right.

Everything will be ok, sometimes you can't see the end for a while, not whilst you're going through it.

So sorry, Marie.
It's terrible to feel that kind of fear.
Only perspective that helps me when I fear job loss (I'm in that now) is to deliberately ask myself what choices I would have then. There's always a choice of some sort or another you could make to move on if it came to that.

Don't despair.
Things get all shaken up in life and then smooth out again, it comes and goes.

I believe your daughter too, you will be okay. (No matter what happens or doesn't happen.)

Keep telling us how you're doing,

Hopalong
