falling out with friends/ moving on

one thing I've noticed as I did more therapy and started recovering- most of my relationships changed. Several ended altogether, including some negative family ties.

Apart from love relationships- where I seem to lose all reason (smile ) my friendships are now all reciprocal and a positive influence and I don't have much time for anyone who won't respect my boundaries.

200 years!

But one of the hardest things about changing is relationships don't always survive.

And one of the reasons we keep plugging away at defunct patterns of relationships: is to maintain our relationships.

Go figure...
