New book: Stumbling on Happiness
« on: July 31, 2006, 06:00:01 PM »
Hi everyone,

There's a new book by Daniel Gilbert (a Harvard psychology professor) on the psychology of happiness:  Stumbling on Happiness.  Very interesting and well worth the read if you want to see how the "psychological immune system" works.

Richard

p.s.  This is not a self-help book...

Richard, thank you!

I just finished "Healing without Freud or Prozac" Dr David Servan-Schreiber - opened my eyes to the studies of 'alternative' cures, such as acupuncture. I liked the chapters on emotional brain/heart regulation and healing.
