« on: October 29, 2009, 01:10:55 PM »
For those in the Boston area:

November 17, 2009  7:30 pm
Calderwood Pavilion

Upstage Lung Cancer (the organization my wife founded) presents:

Life is a Cabaret

A Musical theater evening to benefit lung cancer awareness and research

Nationally celebrated cabaret/jazz artists Brian De Lorenzo, Hildy Grossman (the Follen Angels), Krisanthi Pappas and Kathy St. George perform some of the most beloved songs in the American songbook under the musical direction of Tim Evans. TV celebrity Joyce Kulhawik will serve as master of ceremonies and fabled Red Sox announcer, Jerry Remy will be recognized with first annual Fan award. Don’t miss this delightful evening and support a worthy cause at the same time.

Some time in the future consider including the wine industry and calling it "life is a cabernet."  Just in terms of donations and theme.  :-)

Good idea, gjazz!  And the companion song could be:

Let it Breathe

(Sung to Lennon and McCartney)

Best,

Richard
