Information please
« on: June 10, 2013, 11:28:30 AM »
Guys:

I've provided basic information for what I'm researching below.... the use of METFORMIN, and THIABENDAZOLE as alternative cancer treatments, esp as it relates to breast cancer with mets to the liver, post surgery, post chemo treatment and radiation with ongoing chemo at this time.  The article I provided gives a basic overview of how these drugs work, the low cost, and low ill side effects.... research sounds very promising.

I have a close relative and a friend dealing with breast cancer with mets to liver.  Chemo seems to be working pretty well right now, so quick responses are appreciated if you have something to share or can ask someone you know for relevant information.

I'm also interested in bone marrow/blood stem cell donation and stem cell replacement therapies if anyone has information about that.

Thanks,
Lighter

Hi Lighter,
My best advice is to go to PubMed.gov, and search those terms.
The types of articles that are most useful for smart non-scientists are what they call REVIEW articles,
which sum up general current knowledge about a topic. I do not know whether there are any for these
particular drugs, however.

Best of luck,
Hops
(I just google everything...another helpful thing is to look for "Dot-org" or "dot-gov or dot-edu" URLs, as those
that end in "Dot-com" are commercial interests.)
"That'll do, pig, that'll do."
