Hi everybody,

I know that some have stopped posting as a result of my strong secular beliefs about the separation of church and state, in this case as it applied to the LGBT community.   (I had a laugh with my wife:  my now-retired congressman was not only gay and married, but the marriage was officiated by the then Black governor of the state—i.e. boy do we live in a different world than most!)

Anyway, what I wanted to say was this:  thank you for your posts all these years, I will continue to care about all of you, and you will be missed.  And, of course, if you choose to come back (as long as the Board is operating) you will always be most welcome.

Different world indeed. Not only was your guy gay and married but his prostitute/boyfriend ran a brothel out of your congressman's apartment...not that there's anything wrong with that.

Considering the state of the state I am more than happy to be separated from it. Unfortunately, despite our irreconcilable differences, it doesn't seem to want to grant me even a trial separation let alone a divorce.
