Update on Kelly

[Gaining Strength]

For those of you who remember Kelly, aka Overcomer, I wanted to let you know that she is in the hospital, still waging her 7 year battle against cancer.  Her daughter posted on Facebook today that she is declining, not eating.  She has been courageous and fighting hard for a long time. And she was an active member here for many years so some of you will remember her well.

I hope Kelly found some peace and especially support.

One thing haunts me sometimes about the Board, is...

I'm very sad to hear this. Anyone on this board has struggled enough and deserves a good life. Sorry to Kelly and her family for what they are all going through. Sending best wishes for peace and healing.

Her daughter posted that she is no longer receiving visitors in the hospital.  I will keep you posted.  She was about to start yet another series of treatments but her bloodworm did not look good and win days she was hospitalized.
