life without my husband Bill has been very lonely......and very hard to get used to....
I really miss him so much after 56 years of being married and six kids.......etc etc

I had been wondering how you're getting on, BettyAnne.  It's good to see you posting.  I hope you'll be able to pop in as often as you can   I can't imagine how hard it's been for you just lately.  I'm sorry Bill is gone.  I think it will be hard to adjust to him not being with you, but I hope it gets a little easier over time.  I hope the kids are doing okay.  I know they're grown up but they're always your babies, you know?  I hope you're doing alright xx

Is there a kitty or pooch around? Sometimes just the chance to touch and talk to a living being helps, I think.

I think I'd be lost without my doggo. Going on 11 months mostly alone.

Thanks so much two a penny and Hops.......

I cry a lot because I miss Bill......but I was so lucky as a sixteen year old when I  met Bill.....He came from a dysfunctional home too.......gosh did we learn a lot.  Bill became sober from drinking 35 years ago...I was so proud of him because his family were drinkers.  Non of them ever recovered but Bill went on to help others too in the group. 
We helped each other too........My mother was narrcistic and borderline according to my T.  OMG as you all know not easy.......
The death of my Bill is a big one for me.......he was the person who really loved me and I loved him so so much.  I am lost without him........he was honest with me and we both shared so many things.......I don't think this will be easy not having him here with me ?? but I am so grateful to him with all we went through ......we changed the outcome.  We were not perfect for sure.......but we sure tried to improved our lives after what we came from.  My N Mother was never nice to him but we both saw how off she was.

I am so sorry for your sorrow. I hope you will sometimes sense Bill very near, telling you it's all right, he's always with you. Maybe in funny small ways, a memory, a comfort.
