Hi chicksquip, thx for the link about transactional analysis...
A couple of weeks ago I started getting interested into this.. I think it may be a powerful tool when one knows how to use it...(which is not my case... yet  )
For now the mere awareness of having possibly 3 different people i.e 3 different voices talking within me kinda sort things out in my mind. At least I have an idea who is "talking" (for now it has been the child who has cried a lot)... But it's good to know that is the child and not my entire self. I hope the way I apply transactional analysis is ok, I just use it intuitively at the moment...

Dear RL,

I've seen it in print over and over on this board, If it doesn't feel right, don't do it.  It is good counsel.  I'm not discouraging you from doing Inner Child work intuitively.  That is the way I did it and it moved me forward in a significant way.  I can't do it tonight, but if you'd like me to, I will give you a rundown of my experience.  Let me know.

Hi CHICKSQUIP,
I would be really interested in having a more "practical" idea about this. When you feel it is ok for you, please, I would be quite glad to hear about some of your experience concerning the listening of the Inner Child.
Here is another link that may be related:

I think I somehow started doing it a few months ago by taking better care about me: eating more healthy food, choosing nicer clothes, improving my feminine appearance, just like a "reasonnably good mum" would do to me. And telling myself "sh*t up!" if I repeat to myself bad comments like "you are so stupid, poor girl"  that Nmother use to say when I was a kid). However I have not enough awareness about my relation to Nfather yet to do this job. Do you think I am heading in  the right direction?
