things are getting better, I'm taking meds and spoke with the therapist, seeing her first thing tomorrow.

I also plucked up courage to tell a few people at church that I'm struggling.

Sorry I haven't had time for anyone else's posts, I promise I'll be supportive back another time!

write, I'm glad to hear some things are going better for you.  Get support wherever you can.  As for being supportive back, don't worry about it right now.  You are at a point in your life where you need more coming in than going out to get yourself energized again.  When that happens, support for others will naturally flow from you again in a healthy way.  I do understand, and feel "greedy" when I'm getting more support than I put back out.  It helps to remind myself that I don't resent supporting others, I am delighted by the opportunity!  I expect then that others may feel the same way about supporting me when I need it.

((((write)))): so good to hear from you.  don't worry about returning any favors, as Longtire is correct: it's all good, no one minds being leaned on!
That's why we're here!

Write,
So happy that things are improving.  Really good that you are finding the courage to talk about your struggles. :D

No worries about returning the support at this time.  I'm a firm believer in what goes around, comes around.

You were in my prayers this morning at church, along with the many others on this site who need them right now.  I hope the news from you will just keep getting better.

Hi Write:

This is really great news and I'm very happy to hear that you are feeling better etc. :D

There will be opportunities to support others, in the future, I'm sure.  The important thing is that you are moving ahead and inspiring others, who might be feeling really down, to keep trying.  That is a huge good thing!

Keep going Write.  Hope today is even better for you! :D  :D

Hi write,
Good going on having the courage to tell others at church. Its not easy exposing yourself like that but it always pays dividends.
As far as needing support. I can't speak for anyone else here but after decades of having the weight of an N pressing down on me, having a pleasant, nice person asking for a little well deserved support feels like a feather. :)

Dear Write,
I'm so pleased that you're feeling a little better now...that's such good news.
As for the whole thing of supporting/not supporting other posters...my feeling is that I can gain from reading about both the tough times, and other people's replies to them, on all the threads on this site. In other words, even when people post and may feel they are asking for help, their request and their experiences are adding to the wisdom here.

Hope this makes sense...I THINK I understand what I'm trying to say!

Sending you hugs Write,
Sincerely,
Lara.

Hello Write,

The fact that you're doing better is a big encouragement in and of itself. :D

Hi Write,

I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better.  I agree with what everyone else has said.  Don't worry about offering support here.  Taking care of yourself and your family is the best place to put your energies.  I also agree that just by you sharing yourself and your feelings here when you can is a great contribution to the board.
