I was thinking the same thing jacmac.  PP, I read your story once, was so appalled by it, that i had to leave without saying anything.  I mean, what do ya say after hearing a reality like that???  Thank God it wasn't me??  No. . .  that's not very consoling or supportive.  I was too intrigued not to come back though.  You sound totally sane.  I can't imagine that I would be after such treatment.  You were smart to hold on to your belief.  You're still smart, feisty too!!  Sounds like you give your N husband a good run for his money.

That sweet little girl though, alone with nothin but her suitcase and strangers???  Man, all I wanna do is give her a big hug and tell her everythings gonna be okay.  Sounds like you're taking care of her though.

forgive my harshness PP, I'm not a violent person at all - but I'd like to beat your mother to a pulp. I am absolutely horrified. No innocent child deserves the kind of treatment you endured.

Have you sought therapy to grieve the pain of these terrible experiences?  This might assist you too in handling your current situation with more strength (although you don't seem to be doing too badly on your own).

Hugs

pp,

Words can't describe my feelings at your story. Your mother sounds sociopathic. I'm so sorry she did this to you. Hopefully your husband, even with his problems, is better than she is.
