Child Development Presentation at college...Laura
« on: October 02, 2006, 06:02:12 PM »
Hi all

I hope it wasn't too forward of me to post this as a separate thread about me.  I'm really not feeling narcissistic at all at the moment; just feeling jittery and nervous.  In an hour I will be presenting an activity kit in front of about 8-10 people in my Child Development Class.  I really am not keen on the teacher or her views about children, and most of the students are very introverted...me, being an outgoing person, feels like my words often fall on deaf ears, so maybe that's why I'm a bit hesitant about tonight.

I would like all of your prayers that I could have tonight around 6 PM CST in Illinois.

Thanks so much for being here and reading this.

hi laura,

How did it go?  If you did great, well heck, you deserve it.  Even if you made a few mistakes, heck, you're allowed.  I'm happy you shared your jittery excitement with us.

hugs,

Hi Laura,

I slept through it!
But I hope I sent support in my dreams.

How did it go? I thought your presentation sounded terrific.

Thanks all for your thoughts and prayers.

The presentation went ok, but the teacher told me that I just about did an entire UNIT and need to tone it down next time. hehe.

I also got my test back and it was an A+ and so were my papers!  I am one happy camper!

Again, thank you all for your prayers, thoughts and support, not just in this, but just in being YOU
