Hey, if a history debate is what it takes to get you to say hello... :)

I'll fold. Have to admit I was mostly quoting from a Green Party candidate in a Connecticutt senate debate yesterday. I found a lot of what he said captivating.

Hope all's well as can be, Mud, and you are keeping an eye on your own stress level...

Hi Mud!  :D wasn't Locke an empiricist? I always favoured the other dudes, the internal mind types rather than the external world types, i think it's about psychological preferences? maybe?

Was Locke an empiricist? I don't believe so... I haven't read any poly sci in a while... took a lot back in college. My understanding was that he believed people should have the rioghts to property, but should only take what they needed. Am I totally off base???????? It's truly been years and years... oh, how time flies...

richard, i am new to this site, but i find so many who are like-minded. i have always wanted simply to be truly loved and to be able to truly love others. i am so thankful that i have finally found others whose base values are kindness, compassion and understanding.and who are inward looking.
