nightmare
« on: December 27, 2006, 01:13:15 PM »
Last night I had a nightmare.  I was shouting at XN's daughter and Xwife, being very angry with them.  Then Xn appeared and I tried to reason with him while he ignored me.  The dream went on alternating with me being angry with the other two.  I assume this is me procesing some stuff but really i am disappointed that at some level I am still trying to appease XN and take my anger out elsewhere, even though it is a dream.

Bit disturbed by all of this

Hi Axa,

I wanted to send hugs to you, I'm so sorry to hear of your N's envading your dreams. Of course that is just my interpetation, I know how hard you are working and it seems like such a defensless time.

I hope as you speak of your dreams they will work through while you are awake and you can find peace while you sleep.

Possibly you can open your mind each night before sleep to dreaming of N with the goal of learning something new or having an insight.  Sometimes I have done this with success.  It doesn't work every night but it has worked several times.  When I open my mind to the possibility of insight then my dreams seem more imaginative and I do get new ideas sometimes.  Then there is less of that frustration that you are powerless even in your own dreams.  I hate that feeling myself!!!  I figure my own dreams should be ones of strength and freedom.  But sometimes you do have to work out the weak parts, unfortunately.

Hey Axa,

Dreams can be really troubling but can you think of them as a safety valve?
You have released a lot....
