Does This Sound Like an N?
« on: January 27, 2007, 11:07:34 AM »
One of my usual routines is to read the Advice Columns. This morning, I came across this.  The individual described in the first letter sounds like a real doozy!  He strkes me as an N and his wife strikes me as either an N or N-Supply.

What do you think?

This guy is worse than an N. He is physically abusive, incredibly hostile. I would not be at all surprised to learn that he batters his wife.

She may be an N-remora, intentionally going along for the ride, or she may be so psychologically battered that she has allied herself with him as the only way she knows to protect herself.

Either way, they're both toxic as h-ll.

I agree!  With "friends" like them, who needs enemies?!?!?

Occasionally, I will observe "flaming" Ns on various court shows.  They behave like such "flaming A-Hs"!

The second Dear Abby question sounds like an N too.

Abby must have seen a lot of Ns.  Funny she never uses the word "narcissist"

I figure:

(a) She does not know

or

(b) She is taking a "neutral" stance about labeling anyone an N.

or (c) whoever syndicates her thinks she'd be sued if she called it like she sees it...

they could be right, too, Ns being Ns.

True!  Forgot about the syndicates.  Gotta be PC.
