You're right. If I were being loved back by someone who'd shown his interest in my wellbeing too, and had offered the same kind of loyalty and affection...I know I would sacrifice without feeling lost.

Guess I still have my guard up, huh. And I'm not even dating.

Hi all,

I think bottom line love should not hurt.  The people I love I will try my best to treat with respect and care and will consider their feelings when I make decisions.  I wonder about the word "Love"  I think a lot of the time adult love relationships are about infatuation, the buzz, the highs whereas I think real love is calm, holding and supportive.

Hops I liked what you said about not feeling someone elses pain.  I thnk staying seperate is very important and that is something I would need to be careful about.  You mentioned fusion...........know that one.
