My criminal psychologist!
« on: February 21, 2007, 11:33:33 AM »
Hey all,

I've been out of the loop due to my server going down for almost a week.  (Although it didn't stop my N from sneaking out of the house to use the internet at the coffee shops)  He would use one excuse after another to get out knowing I could not say anything because he would just tell me he was SOOO BUSY cause HE worked.  And everything he does is for me, and HOW could I accuse him of needing to do his very important work????  Not sure what he is up to, but he is free to waltz out while I take care of the kids like the hired help.

Anyway, glad to be back on.  I missed this board tons!  It's like a lifeline!

So....I just realized something......My NH has always said he wanted to be a criminal psychologist and/or a forensic psychologist.  Although he didn't/isn't. (Too much work, I suppose)

I'm thinking.......

Hmmmm...he must adore his criminal mind (and himself) so much he would want to study himself!  Or learn new tricks!  I am not sure which.  But I can't believe it took so long to have that "lightbulb moment!"

Anyone else had their N interested in something similar or strange that should spell out their sickness?

Just curious!

Sunny

Hey Sunny,

Not only did mine speak of his criminal mind he acted on it.

Afterwards, when I was going through his things and getting rid of them (he went to jail) I came across a journal he was keeping.  He never had one before.  It talked about how everyone thinks he is this nice guy and how he can pull off making them think that. Then he spoke about his true evil self.  It was bizzare! I got the feeling that if he was to not succeed and maybe was  killed this was left behind for everyone to see.
It was not written as a submission of guilt it was written as if he was a God! or the Devil.
There is so much more evil to my N then I knew and I do not feel I want to dig any further.
I believe he was just short of killing someone to get what he wanted.
Remember Ted Bundy? Everyone liked him. He was a  quiet well mannerd,  intelligent guy?  My husband had the same personality.
He looked like your All American Guy.

Oh yes and watch the music they like it tells you alot about them.

This was my ex's favorite song. Sang it all the time.  Didn't notice at the time that he was identifing himself with it.
No he does not play the guitar and never had a desire to, but he did want his money for nothing, that is where he just decided to take it from bank robbries and probably much more then I knew of.
He sand this all the time and would smile like he got some kind of an award.
Now I know why.

Now look at them yo-yo's that's the way you do it
You play the guitar on the MTV
That ain't workin' that's the way you do it
Money for nothin' and chicks for free
Now that ain't workin' that's the way you do it
Lemme tell ya them guys ain't dumb
Maybe get a blister on your little finger
Maybe get a blister on your thumb

We gotta install microwave ovens
Custom kitchen deliveries
We gotta move these refrigerators
We gotta move these colour TV's

See the little faggot with the earring and the makeup
Yeah buddy that's his own hair
That little faggot got his own jet airplane
That little faggot he's a millionaire

We gotta install microwave ovesns
Custom kitchens deliveries
We gotta move these refrigerators
We gotta move these colour TV's

I shoulda learned to play the guitar
I shoulda learned to play them drums
Look at that mama, she got it stickin' in the camera
Man we could have some fun
And he's up there, what's that? Hawaiian noises?
Bangin' on the bongoes like a chimpanzee
That ain't workin' that's the way you do it
Get your money for nothin' get your chicks for free

We gotta install microwave ovens
Custom kitchen deliveries
We gotta move these refrigerators
We gotta move these colour TV's, Lord

Now that ain't workin' that's the way you do it
You play the guitar on the MTV
That ain't workin' that's the way you do it
Money for nothin' and your chicks for free
Money for nothin' and chicks for free

Wish I would of paid more attention to him earlier.

I have been alone for 15 years. I do not understand why people complain about an NH but stay with him.
Sorry.

Hi Lupita,

Welcome to the board!  Haven't yet had the pleasure

Bad marriage, bad job...what's the difference?  People stay until they can go.  Until then, they need a place to vent--eh?

In the last year I have had to say good-bye to an entire FOO, and escape from a cult, and the husband thing will take a little more time.  Especially since I am trying to save my children from the entire mess of monsters I have recently escaped from and currently live with.
This takes planning and strength.  I usually find support and compassion here while I fortify my strength, learn, and lean on the wise words of experience from those here who care and try to understand.    Hope you will find the same for your situation.

Namaste & Peace,

Sunny

Please forgive me for my lack of sensitivity for your situation. I am very sorry. I was not judging you. Promise. Just trying to understand. I will pray for you and for the Lord to give you the strenght to endure and overcome your problems.
God bless you.
