Invasion of the body snatchers

I found that interplay with the supposed N who invaded his partners thread really scarey. Really scarey and familiar. So arrogant and playing smarter than everbody because he could lie. Imagine what you could do if you lied. Oh the power one would have to manipulate people.

Recently, my exN said that he knew what I was writing to people on my computer because he has spyware.  A sign comes up on my computer that says I have lots of spy stuff coming from his daughter. At first I was sickened and angry at the invasion. Also, frightened because I know he can retaliate with lightning speed and in really destructive ways. He likes to phone people and tell them I am psychotic etc.  Then I thought, "No I am not going to react. I was telling the truth and so be it".  This has helped to free me. I just friggin well took my power back.  I feel that he can crush me or at least I did feel that. Now he has moved on to frest supply and I am getting my brain and heart back. Once again there is blood flowing in my veins, instead of going around like a Post Traumatic Stress Surivior who can barely get out of bed.

It is no small potatoes to leave an N. They can make you pay for sure. But it does not go on forever and at least now I have a chance to live on my own terms.

I can barely fathom the perfidy , sneakiness and sliminess of someone spying here and actually pretending to have good willl while they have a malicious intent.

I am praying for Margo. Praying hard. I hope she is safe.

Isn't it amazing how a couple of thoughts can make all the difference?  Good for you!  You did a great job of taking back your power there!

Margo, I hope you are safe too.     I'm not sure what happened but I'll keep you in my prayers too.

I think it's really important for people who have Ns in their lives to have clean computers, change passwords regularly, and be very cautious.

I know what you mean, Sela. Reading his posts was like smelling decayed. No harm to us, but that he clearly enjoyed his dishonesty and likely laughed is ugly to picture. He had better not harm Margo. The FBI could trace him.

IMO, the most manly thing he could do would not be to abuse Margo any longer, but to end the marriage with fairness and no vengefulness whatsoever. Perhaps he can be decent to her financially when he has not been able to be decent in other ways.
