Nothing like biting into a bit of mystery meat sausage where the only recognizable ingredient is fennel: /

NOT a big fennel fan myself.

I asked my friend P if she wanted to buy the book. Instead of saying, I do not know, or, I am thinking about it, or whatever polite answer and then asking why, she said, directly, "why?" I hate that kind of superior attitutud.
I hate people who think they are doing you a favor by visiting you, then pointing with a finger they say, I already came to visit you, now it is your turn.
I hate people who want you to come to their home, just for you to see them cook, and serve a lousy food, then you have to be grateful because they invited you to their house. Why not get together in a nice cafe and observe people, see a nice environment instead of watching the stupid face of one sinlge person in the loneliness of her property?
I hate to be in groups where everybody is a sheep who goes baaa   baaaa   baaa  beeee beee  baaaa and the N leader gives orders to everybody. Not only they obey, but they will defend him if you dare to have the most minimum disagreement with him/her.

OMG Hope,

I remember tent worms ..............and Dad burning their nests in a scourge we had about 1952 when the roads were jus covered with them and made the driving very slippery.

I'm on the Pacific coast and just got up.

::tapping foot:

But what do the worms inside the slippery bags look like?

And... why did they make the roads slippery?

Lupita:

You're gonna be just fine.

Stick to making better decisions about how you'll be treated and who you'll allow in your space.

It feels uncomfortable and there is a void where we experience lonliness and discomfort..... leaving behind old patterns and people.

Making mindful daily decisions will eventually start paying off.  It gets better ((Lupita))

Remember that dance class where you just danced and opened yourself up to enjoying yourself in the moment?

Now.... I'm going to start a thread on the things we like, lol!

Yes I always referred to them as tent caterpillars-- but I knew what WAS MEANT re the tent.

It was awful to know they were all over in the trees, apple trees, where the swing was, would one drop on my head, what did they have to amble across the pathway to the barn--sometimes so thick I couldn't jump over the mess.
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Yup, Izzy, that there's a tent caterpillar... but around here they're called bag worms.

Lighter, there are several different kinds that appear across the US, some with more colorful markings, like a blue stripe down the back...
but t'aint nuthin cute about 'em once ya see an entire yardfull of trees defoliated by the lil pests.

The slip sliding must be due to all the goo... eek... I can only imagine; never have seen them on the roads like that.

Izzy, how's the salad comin along? I see it's high noon over there where you are... hope you're keepin your cool!   8)

Oh Hope,

They were so bad  here this year that I didn't sit outside my house until 2nd week of July.  Disgusting little things.  It sounded like it was raining under the porch there were so many munching away.  I would not eat out side or barbecue do to the fact they were falling all over the place.  Glad it's over,  Ehwww *shrills* got the Willey's now looking around for left over little buggers.

Let me add to the bug,

I also HATE flee season.  Thank God for Front Line which I would like to put on my own nap of my neck for outside.
