I don't feel like telling my family
« on: September 05, 2007, 08:04:45 PM »
:D  I got married on Saturday with my dearest friends in attendance. It was a lovely time, and I would not have changed it for the world.

I told my family (specifically Nmom) that we were getting hitched by the Justice of the Peace at city hall so she would not come.  I did promise to let her know when it happened, so she could congratulate me.  I have not called and I don't want to.

P.s The dog boys looked great in their leis and painted toe nails! I will post photos soon.
Love Starfish (an old married lady, again)

Awww  :D  Congratulations Mrs. and Mr. Starfish!!

Love and blessings to you both for many joyful years together  :)

Hey, you could drop a wedding announcement into the mail for "mom" and still honor your promise... whenever you're ready....
I just hate to think of how that phone call could deflate your joy right now.

Again, very best wishes to you and I'm looking forward to seein those snazzy pups  8)

With love,
Hope

Congratulations!!  Don't kill the buzz.  I like that sending an announcement idea.   :D

Hello Starfish,

How playful that you took your boys, and made your wedding you and your groom's own, along with those dear friends.

I, too, love the suggestion of the announcement.  It is so good when people can help us see alternatives.

Best Wishes-

Aww... Starfish, you are gorgeous, Hank is looking very dapper, and such a happy group surrounding you on your blessed day!
Beautiful setting, too  :)   I'm just thrilled for you and again, wishing you the very best.
Oh, I hope to make time to read your story post later... not finding the freedom to sit much today, but it's all good!

With love,
Hope

Bells are ringing in my head for you, Starfish!

Will you bring hope to this old bat and tell us how you met Mr. Seahorse?

(Your dog looks like my true first husband, who was a yellow Lab.)

Star,

Your wedding looks like so much fun!  And Hank is such a handsome attendant!  :D

Congratulations!
