There was a guy in high school who made fun of my nose too! He'd even draw pictures of my profile in class, with a hugely & grossly exaggerated nose, and give them to me afterwards. A true romantic, lol.  He was sooo funny, and we got on really well together, always bantering on, insulting each other to bits and loving it. I later learned he had a crush on me, lol. If only I'd known.

It was also really helpful to point out that men have insecuties too; most people wish they looked better, deep down.
