lighter,
I have a design in mind. How about a diamond quilting of ruby red into the fur, starting approx. ankle height, continuing up but leaving a rim of fur at the top? Plus a little string bow in front, at the top, continuing from the quilting, under the kitties' chins?
Ami,
I wonder how your former b/f would steer and encourage you to live with the knowledge you have gleaned? What do you think he would say if you were telling him about your family, in addition to trusting yourself? It sounds like he was very important to you.
Short update- my H was on vacation, and we made a trip to TN to see my dad. He was ill this summer, so I was much relieved to see with my own eyes that he looks pretty good physically. He is depressed, however, and is resisting meds. He was a strong healthy man before he fell ill, so I know it's been a lot for him to deal with.
His wife (I don't call her my step-mother, because she's only about ten years older than me and is a friend but not a mother figure, thank goodness) has really found herself again through all of this. Long story- a lot of it has to do with my brother.
My mother is difficult as usual, but as I have mentioned, is very ill. I still need to come back and write on my other thread. I think I've been avoiding doing that, and I've been avoiding writing on the board as a whole. I have been skimming posts regularly to see how everyone is doing. I'll be back, soon I hope...
