Lost and overwhelmed
« on: October 18, 2007, 06:40:55 AM »
Does anyone else have this experience?  You in away for a few days and when you come back you do not recognize any topics, there are too many posts to read and you just forget it and exit the website?  That is how I am right now.  I cannot keep up with all the postings!

Welcome back, Kell!!! Yes, I definitely have those days... but we are all here for a common purpose - so you know the topic :) Grab a thread or two... I usually go for the ones from those who seem most distressed.

Welcome Back,
I suppose that all the topics have the common themes of finding our voice and our inherent worth and dignity. They are about trying to get away from people who are trying to decimate us and trying to be O.K. once we get there------ BLEH                     Love  Ami(a little discouraged myself ,today)

Good!  Because right now I cannot begin to help anyone with anything!  I am overwhelmed with the move, two houses and now I am getting a cold.  We had a meeting with a guy about work and of course my mom and I did not agree on anything.  Oh well!

Hi Overcomer!

You have been missed- I hope your many endeavors are all going well, and your health is good amidst the upheaval of moving , etc. I also get lost and overwhelmed and feel silly at times- but after a post or two, things come around again!

Love and Hugs,

Changing

No worries, Kell...
we'll take you as we find you whenever you appear.

I'm having a similar thing lately, so incredibly busy I can't keep up.

But I still feel the belonging.

Thank you.  I want to post and respond .  And I want to get to know some of the newer people.  I want to talk with so many of you.  I want to lament and cheer you on.  I want to get past this whole thing with my mom.  I do not want to sound like a broken record.  I want this lap band to work!  I want to sell my house!

(((((((((((Kelli))))))))))))  I can relate... like wanting to wake up in the future (only be no older  8)) and have all this crud over with.

You've not been forgotten here... this is just an odd season, I think. Vewy, vewy odd, or so it feels to me. Please just continue taking good care of yourself and know that this too shall pass.

Love to you,

Carolyn

Do not think so and my realtor said a couple wanted a deal.  I told him we would be glad to negotiate way down to sell it.  I hope they come in with an offer real soon-even if it is a low ball offer!

Thanks AMi:  Maybe you were thinking things like "Kelly is going to sell her house today!!"  I was thinking about these people who want to low ball us and then a realtor just called to show the home.  So tomorrow I am going over and so is my H.  He will mow the lawn and I will touch up some paint.  It smelled musty after I got the carpets clean so I will light some candles.....maybe bake cookies again!!!

I am going to leave here and go look to see if the stainless place sold.  One thing my realtor said is that I am competing with newer construction with plush shag carpet, fresh paint, hard wood floors, granite, etc.  I think I must lower the price and take a hit.  We bought the new house for six thousand below the tax assessment.  Our home is on the market for $11,000 more than the tax assessment.  Thinking it is time.  Either really update or lower the price!!  We had a lot of square footage.  Probably 3300.  Walk out basement.  I would think someone who needs space could really use our home.  But two of the bedrooms are little girl specific and what if the buyers have boys????

Dear Kelly,
I think that a person either has to fix it up or sell it lower. Those seem to be the choices. I really ,really hope that you get some good "bites".                          Love  Ami
