a psalm that talks about abusers/abused

I was reading my bible this morning and came across this Psalm:

Psalm 12

"Help, Lord, for the godly man ceases!
For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men.
Quote
n's are unfaithful

They speak idly everyone with his neighbor;
With flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
Quote
n's turn people against you

May the Lord cut off all flattering lips,
And the tongue that speaks proud things,
Quote
this means that God needs to silence abusers
Who  have said, "With our tongue we will prevail;
Our lips are our own;
Who is lord over us?"  Narci
Quote
ssists feel they often are their OWN lords of their lives

For the oppression of the poor,
for the sighing of the needy,
Quote
that would be OUR sighs our our being oppressed
Now I will arise, says the Lord;
I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.....
Quote
we DO yearn for safety when abused

verse 8

"The wicked prowl on every side,
When vileness is exalted among the sons of men."
Quote
This last part reminded me of how N families walk on eggshells around N's and even put them up on a pedestal in order to avoid experiencing their wrath against any who will not comply to what they demand and want!
