Communication truly is altogether a most fascinating subject.
And in particular, I have an appreciation for the subheading in the tips section, in the other thread, entitled "Clarify what was meant"
As we all, from time to time, misinterpret - what we hear and/or what we read as in 'fact to face' and/or in online * hear * and * read *
Think it would be beneficial if we all as people, everywhere on a wide level, could engage in checking out that we have understood what someone has said and/or * said * correctly, with respectful courteous engagement - thereby, adopting a life breathing healthy option. Or am I being a 'pollyanna'?

And I truly do appreciate the examples of ...
you could ask, "When you said...did you mean... or, "what did you mean by..." or, "when you said...I heard... is that what you meant"
At the end of the day, it's true, what it says in closing portion; the choice is ours
And it really is our choice on a very wide level.
Can't help but wonder, very often, if the root of the problem is that we are simply too preoccupied to stop, stand back, and listen
as we go through the paces of our ever increasingly busy 'rat race' pace of life.
Just a thought.
Love, Leah
