Sounds fine to me.

However, and not to labour the point, the article did not say "Mid-life crises in NPD men".

I suppose what I want to say is that although I suffered awful trauma because of an NPD husband I do not believe that henceforth men and NPD should be synonymous.

Likewise, I too have suffered awful life threatening trauma at the hands of an NPD husband (ex).

I do not believe that henceforth men and NPD should be synonymous.

And, likewise, this my expressed belieft also, as I am fortunate to know of, and respect, NON disordered men, of whom, the dialogue is most engaging and enjoyable.

Leah and all,
Due to my life's history, I would tend to think women fall more on the N side. All my N dealings have been with women, so I have never found men to be synonomous with NPD.

Dear Beth,

In my life experience the Women were the worst!!!!   Subliminal ~ Subjective ~  Cunning and Crafty ...... they ate me alive!

Thank you for expressing what I dared not, the truth, in a balanced perspective.

The article seems rather lightweight, biased and sexist to me.  23% of the population claims to have had a mid life crisis and he writes it off as a "distinct minority"?  If it was any other condition this statistic would be considered epidemic level.  Sure some people take advantage of the label to behave badly, but is there any mental "condition" for which this isn't a possibility?

If someone invents an expensive pill to cure it, watch the attitude change drastically.  Then men will be invited to "ask their doctor about new midlifeease" :D
