For Amber, about the Paper Doll...

I just saw it, Amber... and wanted you to know, I understand.

It's not even about being dimensional... it's about sturdiness.
Not even a cardboard cutout, but flimsy paper, unable to hold fast against the winds of the world.
Been thinking alot about how often I'm left feeling blown over by someone else's windstorm... exactly like a paper doll...
yes, flooded by the world...
unable to maintain... so far! Well, so far means it's not finished... it's a big "yet", Amber, with more to come...

Thank you so much.

Carolyn

:)  Amber     I'm getting it. Just at the fringes, but it's registering...

Someone asked me today whether I was alright... she said it seemed like I wasn't really all there.
I didn't have much of a response, with the work atmosphere so charged with phony baloney...
but she pressed, "Are you all here, Carolyn?"

I said, "Yes, I'm as here as I care to be right now" ...  and as strange as that may sound, it was the right answer.

(Maybe that was her way of inviting me to discuss my troubles... maybe it was only banter. I really never can tell.)

Hoping to be able to make some more verbal sense of it all another time, Amber, but for now, please accept my heartfelt thanks and hugs to you...

with love,
Carolyn
