I think it's really important to pause sometimes and have a laugh to put perspective on things.

Lol, I love Monty Phython.

Iphi, how are you going? Are you up for an update? I'd love to hear how life is going for you at the moment.

Yes, Iphi, it is indeed important to have a laugh, and to laugh often!!!

All the best, and hope you are well.

Hi folks - (((folks!)))   I will do an update here.  My baby started really walking last month at 10 months of age.  Now between work, teething and babyproofing and walking around and around and around (he likes to hold a parental finger and march in front!) and "building his immune system" (a euphemism for picking up a new bug from daycare on a weekly basis) - we are very busy, sometimes in very wee hours, such as last night.  Boy, I stayed up late to post this topic and did I pay for it when the baby woke up with teething pain only 2.5 hours later.

So I haven't been keeping up with the board too well, but snatch time as possible.

Right now I am reading the Wizard of Oz and Other Narcissists.  I think it is really, really good and recommend it to the board members.  It gets right down to business and identifies the bottom line of each and every characteristic.  It really clears up my fog of self-doubt and confusion and questioning my own perceptions.

One interesting thing it says is that CNS (central nervous system) disorders can be comorbid with the development of many symptoms of NPD.  If anyone knows of articles or research on this topic, I would like to pursue it.  As some posters may recall, my dad has MS and this was specifically cited as related to symptoms of N.  Still, my memory goes back to my earliest years and my dad always had N symptoms, before he had MS symptoms.

It's a very good read though I am not at the part where it discusses methods for healing, yet.

It will continue to be a challenge to post, but I will as always be reading as much as possible.  Every reading of posts here affirms the journey reminds me that we have plenty of company along the way.
