An N with Insight, However Momentary

[Confounded]

We all read our Valentine's Day cards at dinner.  Much laughter & fun...

The man of the house (n'ish) read one from a child to him, "Thinking of you lovingly on Valentine's Day" (open card) "That's the only way to think about someone as special as me to you."  I thought, "That doesn't make sense."  He laughed and corrected himself, "That's the only way to think about someone as special to me as you."  I said, "I thought that didn't make sense."  He said, "Yeah.  The other way it would make more sense coming from me."  He looked at me knowingly. 

He gets it.  That is, he does until it gets the better of him.  Then he's off in one of his N-induced (idiotic) rants or rages, to be ignored.
