Dr Phil

I'm hoping someone watched the doc today, besides me.

If you did, you saw "my husband" (minus the physical abuse part and some of the vulgarity)

The comments about my weight, the way the guy justified his reactions and actions as being HER fault, the weird facial tics, the closed, blinking eyes when he was cornered...ALL OF THAT IS MY HUSBAND!  I live with that every day!

Dr Phil told the man that he might have narcissistic personality disorder, which is an elevated level of false superiority that hides inner insecurity and inadequacy, and operates by putting someone down to elevate oneself.

Go figure

Actually, Iz, my spiritual mom sometimes watches Dr Phil and she lives in another state, so she gets the program before I do and tells me to watch the "good" ones.

We both know a lot about narcissistic personality disorder, so when shows with controllers come on, we often give the heads-up to each other.  We also enjoy watching psychological movies and spending time in deep spiritual situations.
