I think my positive lesson is: If there's one way to confront eNtitlement, it's confronting eNtitlement.

Hops

If there's one way to confront eNtitlement, it's confronting eNtitlement.

Personally, I positively agree.

Hey everyone,

There's a great book you might all enjoy -- The Writings of Florence Scovel Shinn.

It's a very uplifting book with many good suggestions (affirmations). However, I caution that I think it falls under what is called the "prosperity gospel", which I personally don't believe in. Nonetheless, a friend gave it to me last year and I really liked it. It has a lot of great affirmations in it, such as "everyone person is a link in my chain of good." At the very least, it repeats the wonderful phrase, "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalms? I can't remember where that's from) -- a great thing to say when you get up each morning, as she suggests.
