That is an image that makes great sense to me.

Today I am hurting.  I think this journey dealing with the money issue is going to be very, very painful.  It has these deep tendrils tied up with my father, mother, family, friends from long ago and then there are the issues of societal or cultural reaction to money.  The pain has begun to ooze out around me. 

I hate this kind of pain but I do know that it is the portal to healing.

One year ago I told my sister-in-law and brother that I wanted to give them a 25th anniversary party.   And tonight I was a tremendous success.   

There is no way to describe what that means to me.  There are so many nuances and victories and jubalences that have come to fruitiion in the process of this party planning and success.  I am tired and want to go to bed but I could not until I had posted here first.  But tomorrow I will spend much more time expanding on what a victory it has been for me to plan this for a year and the extraordinary hurdles I have overcome to get to this point of extraordinary success. 

I am thankful and I am pleased.  And it is a victory, a victorious healing victory.  Thanks, thanks, thanks.
