My error regarding new members.

I have not made a habit of remembering that the Member's Stories Page exists.

I have no recollection of what I did regarding welcoming a new member.

I expect if a saw a post from soneone new, and it said that her story was over on the other page, for us to please read and then post an opinion, who had the 'same' experience (i.e. N mother) etc., then I would have gone to read the story and posted to the newby awaiting comments.

I just now checked and see that littlejo and Oops have deleted their stories. I feel badly about  my part in not 'knowing them', and not beginning a dialogue, in friendship.

When I joined, I began with my story on these pages but later forgot the change.... (my age???)

Then it's my age too Iz... Because I sure do forget to go look at stories.. I did that to you when I asked you a question and you said, read my story.. I completely forgot and it may be because I also started where the story went right here... where we are typing.  I see sometimes when someone starts a welcome thread, I think, Oh I did it again.......forget.. old habit of hopping on here to read...and yes that is my error also..

Littlejo and Oops posted that they were "frightened" of (or off)  the board.

Lollie has left also, who joined here as a member in December'07 - a woman of intelligence and integrity, and a real honor to have met here, I truly feel.


It was I who created the thread for Oops.

Sadly, here on the board right now, the current dynamics, makes new members wary - that's why I tried to highlight the IMPACT today, regarding, No Contact Order Rulings on the board, here, in this community.
