Hi Lea, I have been busy, sundays are very busy for me. Just came from church.
I think that they are very helpful, as long as they do not interfer with your faith in Jesus. I substitute Universe by God or Jesus, and I substitute Dao with God or Jesus, other than that, I find them very helpful.
I will use them to try to be successful in my next job where I want to make friends and will return a bad look with a smile and help and they will love me to peaces because I will work hard for them.
Yes, and for self esteem I use Louis Hay. She is good uplifting slef esteem. Again, I substitute universe by Jesus or God. Dyer is helping me to keep my mouth shut. To listen more to others without giving opinion and to give love to people who dislike me or critizice me. That was my worst problem. To hate someone because they hate me instead of being nice to melt them with love. I will try. I will try. I will try.
Hi Lupita,
Thank you ever so much for sharing. I do think you have made a valid, most poignant point, with regard to being proactively discerning and wise as in your application of substitution. For a healthy open worldview.
I have read and applied wisdom from various sources having done likewise, and learned much, gaining effective tools for life.
Louise Hay is inspirational, shining a light on the everyday application of choices for healthy emotional well being.
Being underpinned by the foundation of one's personal faith as a mature Christian, as you say, substituting certain words/phrases, with Jesus (God) which is how we walk the walk of our faith, looking to Jesus, and not the world.
Louise Hay: I do appreciate and value her quote:
"the thoughts we think and the words we speak - create our experiences" - being my heart's choice.
Well over a year ago now, I discovered Beth Moore, and her book "Breaking Free" for a life of freedom, which has been an enormously helpful healing tool.
Gosh, Lupita, you have worked diligently, and the fruit of your labor is clearly evident, by you just being you, as you openly exemplify here in engaging with honesty and wisdom. "well done you"
Very best wishes to you in all your future endeavors.
Love, Leah
