The answers from Gabben, Lea, CB, Lighter, and Izz, have such a deep meaning to me that I have to re-think and meditate about how I am going to respond. This is very important. So important in my life. I just made a huge discovery, that for many would be just daily life, and for me is a matter of survival, a matter of keeping a job, a matter of not having to run away anymore.

Thank you.

This board has helped me so much!

Hi Lupita,

I think the board can be a godsend.
When I first came here I was so lonely my body ached.

Right or wrong, insightful or not, I think this board has been an emotional lifeline.

There may be a point when I'd like to release the line, since I also use the board to avoid facing unpleasant duties in my life. But it has been extremely valuable to me.

I guess that's like any positive thing. Such as...protein. Too little, you wither. Too much, kidneys fail.

This board has nourished me for two years, when I craved honest intimacy, more than anything else.

love to you,
Hops

(I'm sure there are many more examples but this was just the most recent.  Hope it's ok to link it here PS and G?  If not, let me know and I'll delete my post).

Thank you so much Hop and Sela.

We need more positive, think positive things and more positive will come to your life. Thnk negative and more negative will come to your life.

I feel very positive today.

I got a job offer!

Hi CB, thank you for asking me. Here it is. I am sure you have so much good to say. You have been always helpful to me and many others. Always compassionate, nonjusgemental.

Love to you.

Found it!

I was looking for a different title.

What I have found so positive about the board is how I could always come to the board any time day or night and pour out my heart.  I have received a lot of benefit from therapy as well--but therapy requires appts. and time constraints.  So do friends who listen!  The board was always here, always "listening".

I also have always liked the freedom it gave me to know that anyone who was bored could simply not read my post.  I never felt bad about waxing eloquent because I was blissfully unaware if someone's eyes were glazing over.   :?(Well, in the old days, no one actually told you that your post was boring, made no sense, or whatever. People are much more honest these days...)

Anyway, that was the bestest parts about the board for me.

love
CB

Hey CB, relating to your post, I am board at home and coming here, with freedom, and thinking, God, I do not need what I do not have. I am content with what I have.

I love it here. Love the Board.

But I am always happy on vacation.
