An N Tale...
« on: June 25, 2008, 09:20:27 PM »
This little story astounded me today - truly.

My NM said there was a mother bird feeding her baby on her porch (already a big baby, she added) and my NM suddenly realized that the bird was feeding its baby ONE OF HER CHERRIES from her cherry tree. She didn't even realize that the cherries were ready, she added. She then said that she made my dad cover the tree so the bird couldn't take any more before she got some.

My Lord, the woman is insane.

Beth,

She needs plastic birds...
then they can eat wax cherries.

She sounds very familiar.

Love,
Carolyn

My mother would make my dad rush to the store to get them their own food.

Seriously.

Very familiar.

At least that would show your mom was thinking somewhat about the birds, Carolyn. Is your dad a "servant" too?

Yes, Beth... he's a server. Well... when it suits him, which is most of the time.

She does like birds... or at least watching them. He builds her many, many fancy birdhouses and feeders and maintains them all.

But she wouldn't like them to take some of her fruit. They must stay "in their place", you know.

Carolyn

Carolyn,
Thanks so much for asking. I have been meaning to write a bit about my life here, since I have had changes... I think I will since you asked. I had been waiting for things to settle a bit... but let me start a new thread and maybe you can help me with what;s on my mind.

I'll sure listen ((((Beth))))... and more than likely have an opinion, too... as you might guess.

Just sorry I didn't ask you the other day, but there was still so much dust in the air... and then I just realized... couldn't remember whether or not you'd moved yet! Sheesh, I need a memory boost.
Ready when you are.

Love,
Carolyn

on edit... lol - oops! I see you've already made a new thread. One of these days I will catch up!
